I had not created anything new since May. My creativity went by the wayside for weeks and I have to say I am very happy to have found it again. As usual, these images were inspired by the graphic group I’ve been playing with off and on for many years now.
The challenge for week 341 are the hands of the clock. I made everything in this image with Corel’s Paint Shop Pro version X and a few plugins. I think I would like a kitchen decorated in this style. Maybe someday, but by then, I’m sure stainless would be as out of style as my old kitchen is now. Oh well, a gal can dream, can’t she?
I’m still behind in sharing my Plus PSP creations. And on top of that, I’m behind in playing there as well. Maybe I will get another creative streak soon. In the meantime, I like what I did with Challenge 340. The shape is the mailbox with the cat’s tail visible in one and the tomahawk looking thing on the Native American inspired… um… thing? I’m not sure what this would be.
We’re actually on Week 344, so I am behind in sharing. I sometimes don’t participate or I might only create one image. The 336 challenge inspired me to create three.
I mentioned I had created a memorial for Cathy and I thought I would share it. I had it printed and will use an 11 x 14 frame matted to the picture size which is 8 x 10. It has her high school picture and a picture taken at our school reunion last summer. It includes the obituary text and the poem her family had printed on the handout for her services. I created some of the elements on the page and some were free to use found on scrapbooking sites.
I realize is it unreadable at this size, but you get the idea of what it looks like. Now to be brave and take the framed print to her Mother. I keep finding excuses not to go. I know this past month has been a time of healing and trying to move forward and my visit and my gift will open up those wounds again… for her and for me. I will share the poem for it is beautiful.
Laziness has kept me from sharing several things created in the last couple of months. However, this morning I have the urge to do just that. All images inspired from challenges at Plus PSP.
Great day here, nothing in particular or spectactular going on, but the sun was shining, the temperature was fantastic, I walked 3 miles and I played on my computer tonight!
mzbet challenged us this week to choose at least three elements from the image below and make something depicting New Year’s.
I made the front of a greeting card and then decided to animate it.

Hope the first day of 2009 has been a good one for you too!
Remember I said no decorations indoors here at the house? Well, I managed to satisfy my need to make things look festive by playing in my favorite program. I was the challenger at Plus PSP this week and provided a stocking with instructions to create a Christmas or winter theme. I managed two images and let me warn you the file size is not huge, but the images are rather large.
Geez… I might as well close the doors here. I’ve managed one other post besides this one in the whole stinkin’ month of November! Oh well, you do know what that means, don’t you? Oh.. you don’t? Well, let me tell you then. It means I haven’t been glued to my computer playing in my favorite program or taking gobs of photos either and I’ve missed both! I did create this image earlier in the month, just never got it posted. I’ve also managed a few more, but nothing I’m that crazy about other than this one.
Elena challenged us with this shape with the usual instructions that it must be recognizable in our images.
I created everything in the image other than the bouquet and vase of flowers. It is a Paint Shop Pro tube that was free to use.
