Idol Winner
I guess you’ve noticed I lost interest in American Idol several weeks back. Oh, I do admit to recording it weekly, but some weeks, I just couldn’t be bothered to watch it at all. I didn’t care which David won, but I think the right one actually was declared the winner since he took risks week after week and was good. David Archuleta is a talented kid, but I only see him doing ballads. David Cook seems to have the total package, only time will tell!
Remember Taylor Hicks? Nothing much happening for him. Reuben Studdard hadn’t been seen until last night. Fantasia has had some success, but that screaming, booty-shaking performance from last week was too wild even for me and I will tell you I like many genres of music except for rap.
Oh well, until next season where I hope I’m inspired to stay hooked all the way to the very end!
I thought the booty-shaking performance you were talking about was Carrie Underwood tonight… very, very disappointed in that performance. Didn’t care the song at all & if it weren’t for closed caption, I wouldn’t have understand a single word… lost her country roots on that one I think… our recorder shut off right when Ryan said, & the winner is David…. ug!!! Had to call Larrylee to find out the last name. Figured he would win anyways… well until next year Cuz…
Same here, lost interest the week before the Aussie was voted off. And last night I forgot it was on - duh!
I do think this time America voted talent and not cuteness though - step in the right direction.
Well, a new post!! I don’t watch the show so don’t have much interest in it. I did see it the night Taylor Hicks won, but didn’t care much for him myself.
