I am in decorating mode! Too bad it’s virtual instead of really in my home! We do have our outdoor lights in place and that is part of the view our neighbor would see if she peeked out her window. And no, the tree of lights are not THAT close to her home! Maybe if I could close my PSP, I might be in the mood to drag out the indoor decorations… nah, on second thought, playing here is not as much work!

Peppermint anyone? Made the mints with a simple fill, color changes, duplicated that layer, added a bevel, duplicated that and used EC glass with a layer blend and lowered the opacity.
Lots of layers and layer blends for the dish. I started with a Balls & Bubbles preset and then used the mesh warp to shape the dish. Flaming Pear’s Lacquer was used as well as EyeCandy Glass and that’s where the layer blends came in.
Duplicated the peppermints in the dish and then used a radial blur to make the candy reflections in the glass. I’m never sure I’m keeping the reflections or shadows in the proper perspective, but I do enjoy trying to figure out how to make them!

I stepped way outside my comfort zone with this one. It is supposed to be a ram, but my husband came through as I was working on it and told me it was a funny looking deer! I explained it was a rare hybrid … part ram, part deer and part calf!
The poor thing has a crooked mouth, but I suppose since it is hanging on a hunter’s wall, it won’t be chewing any longer and doesn’t matter!
I still had fun even though I have a hard time trying to create something not shiny or metallic!
