Challenge 265
Sweet Muffin, always alert to her surroundings, always serious looking, yet a very sweet natured kitty. The boy cat we brought home with her disappeared. Perhaps she knows his fate and the cause for her wariness.
You’re right, Denise, I don’t know what I would do without my animals and my blog! But, I would trade them in a heartbeat for a couple of kids or grandchildren any ol’ time! 
Tonytiger enjoying Mom’s attention. I go out every afternoon, weather permitting of course, and play with the farm kitties. There’s nothing like having willing models to photograph. They don’t complain nor worry about how fat they look or if their hair is a mess. The best part is they work cheap! Plenty to eat and shelter rewards me with photo ops until my memory cards are full! 
These glorious fall days are simply perfect. The only thing that would make these pictures any better would be to catch another sunny day when all the leaves start changing colors. It won’t be long now as you can see evidenced here.

This guy or gal was sitting in the evening sun on our roof wondering what the heck I was doing with that gadget attached to my face. Of course it was only my camera, but how was a bird to know?
370,000 acres destroyed, 500,000 plus residents evacuated…. 1200 homes destroyed at this writing. It is said to be the worse fire ever in California. My thoughts and prayers to those affected.
