Six days later and she’s melting our hearts and already growing! I dug around in a drawer and found some toy mice leftover from our older cats. She’s had a ball with them! You want to make bets on whether she’s going to the farm when she’s older?
Pictris (the challenger) says, “You can change the colours, size and aspect of the Image but it must be in a picture. Don’t just paste a lot together to make a pretty pattern. The challenge piece was created in a program called OpenOffice.org Draw”

My idea
Got nothing to report, nothing to say, nothing to share…. go…. find something better to do! But, come back again, I’ll try to do better!
Love the colors in this pot of coleus. They are really showing out with all this moisture falling from the sky. It rained again today and I’ve lost count of how many days it has rained this month and last. Still shaking my head over the differences from this to last year.
I occasionally check out PC World’s web site. Found this article last night and have enjoyed visiting these new sites. Maybe one or more will be useful to you.
The link is to the alphabetical listing. Down at the bottom of the list is a drop down menu where the sites are broken down into different categories. Go explore!
Nothing serious, just already in love with this face!

And how could you not love that sweet baby? Our neighbor and good friend (using good very loosely here) had heard me say I would like to have another cat to live at the home place to keep the one lone cat there company. His dog caught and brought this kitten to him. Dropped it in the driveway and walked off but not before traumatizing the little thing and leaving a few puncture marks. She couldn’t walk properly for a couple of days, almost like she was paralyzed in the rear limbs. I’m happy to report she’s fine, but we’re not. There’s no way we will ever leave her at the farm after getting attached even though we’re out there every day. Patches, the lonely kitty, will just have to wait on another companion, this one ain’t going anywhere.
My web host still tells me “they are working on these issues” where my blog is very slow to load or won’t load at all. I’ve complained several times now and do understand their dilemma, but it doesn’t make me any less unhappy with the situation. I know I don’t have that much traffic through my site, but that’s beside the point. Playing with this blog makes me happy. Sharing my photos or graphics makes me happy. This s-l-o-w loading sucker? Not so much!
Anywho… another creative streak means I have more images to post. Hopefully someday soon, this blog will load as it should and my visitors will return.
The challenge was to use at least three of the objects in the final images.
