I don’t always take photos of new calves cause really, a calf is a calf is a calf and many times I walk right out the door without the camera. However, I love them all and I’m happy to have these pictures even though it was very cloudy today and not the best time to play photographer. The cow is 1/2 Limousin and 1/2 Black Brangus. The sire of the calf is a red Limousin.
Who knew? This is truly an amazing feat!
Guineas are noisy creatures and will alert you when strangers of any species are around. They are in the same family as turkeys, pheasants and other game birds. If you need bug and tick control in your yard and gardens, these odd looking critters will take care of the problem.

Yeah, it’s the same pooch, you know the one I talked about that we accidentally, not-on-purpose stole? Uh huh, the very same one. Can you blame me though? Just look at that face… he’s the most photogenic mutt around here.
