Chicken Little wasn’t lying…
but he forgot to say it could be the ceiling instead of the sky!
Mom was enjoying an evening of television when the cat made a wild dash from the room just as half of her ceiling fell! She called to report she wasn’t hurt, but was scared. The husband and I rushed over to survey the damage, take pictures and help her clean up the mess. Thank goodness she wasn’t injured! But, her glass coffee table was broken, the gas heater knocked off the wall, many of her collectibles shattered and the ceiling fan lost a blade. She will find out tomorrow how much the insurance will pay towards repairing the damage. What a mess!
wow, glad she wasn’t hurt. Any idea why it would just collapse like that?
That beats all. I hope the insurance will fix it for her, maybe the others need to be checked.
