Horns!
The husband and I were photographing wild flowers recently and came upon this wonderful sight. A group of mixed breed heifers and a couple of Longhorn bulls. The Longhorn breed is desirable to use with heifers because of their low birthweight calves.
Once we looked harmless, they made a dash to the fence to check us out!
The younger bull was also in the same pasture, but off to himself. I’m sure his headgear is not as impressive to the girls right now. Give him time!
