From my phone and TrueHDR app
So my friend has a friend with this awesome old firetruck setting on his premises. We went last night and once again played with our flashlights, but this time we had a little extra help with the full moon glowing brightly and a couple of 18-wheelers hauling grain passing by.
It was another fun learning experience!
For a first time experiment, I think I did okay! I liked it, we all had fun and I want to do it again. I’ve learned something new and I just couldn’t be happier about that. Some are not as good as others, but it will give you an idea what we were playing with.
Not long after we got to the location and set our cameras and tripods up. There were lovely pink clouds behind the ol’ truck and I really like this shot.
Obviously using a green light.
Using flashlights to illuminate the truck before it was totally dark.
From the other direction you could see the lights glowing from the local water facility and community center behind those trees. And there’s just a sliver of the moon visible.
A blue flashlight beam was used to light this shot.
Red laser pointers in constant motion.
I shoot in RAW file format and processed this images in Lightroom. I recently bought Trey Ratcliff’s Lightroom presets and let me tell you, I aspire to do the things he does with them, but for now, they certainly worked as a starting editing point for me and these late night shots.
I’m ready to do it again!
