Since their faces and heads are covered with a mask, wig and makeup, I’m breaking my self-imposed rule and sharing. They were excited and having fun being Batman and a Witch!
The Photo of the Day at Twister Sifter makes me smile!
Well, I’m still being a slug today, so thought it would be fun to look back one year ago and see what I shared.
From 2012: The Visitor
And then I wondered if I had posted two years ago on this date. Nope, I had not.
So, three years ago? No.
Four? Five? No!
Six? Yes! I had posted on this date six years ago…check out Kitten, yes again!
Seven? No, and March, 2006 is as far back as my blog archives go.
While I had posted in October of these years, I had not always posted on October 13.
I have missed posting only 18 days so far this year, and some of those dates were due to our internet being down.
Why am I obsessed with this?
I don’t know, but I am. I enjoy going back and seeing photos I posted or graphic creations I had shared, or even the silly stuff I sometimes post.
It’s my online, sometimes daily journal and while it is not mind boggling, it is mine and I enjoy it.
Perhaps I will have something new to share tomorrow, or I just might go digging back through my archives.
We, hopefully, got lucky with this 4-door 2005 Dodge Dakota with only 42,800 miles on it!
Remember Ed’s truck burned about five weeks ago and we have been searching since.
I sure hope our first Dodge purchase continues to make us happy! It has been well cared for and is not bad looking at all.
Ed is happy with it so far, hope that lasts!
These pics are from my phone.
I had a dental appointment after lunch and since I would be in town, I called the little kids Mom and asked if I could ride with her to pick the kids up at their schools and then take them for ice cream. She said yes and I was excited to get to see them.
It did my heart good to have them excited to see me too! Both ran and gave me hugs and we had a good time eating ice cream cones and visiting.
I made a stop at Walmart since we were in that part of town and although he wanted a new toy, I told them both I would buy fruit snacks or rollups and then let them ride the silly ride and lose quarters in the machine where you try to grab prizes there at the entrance.
It was short and sweet, but definitely made my day. I really am missing seeing them, think they might miss me too although both are enjoying school.
I plan to do this again!
