Last night I read an account of how a young woman had lost her mother to tragedy and how she had forgiven her mother’s murderer. I want to remember to reread her account of faith and forgiveness anytime I’m feeling less than forgiving…and believe me, that is often.
I’m not proud of that fact, in truth, I am ashamed of my feelings at times.
I want to grow as a person and it is about time.
Read Jesica’s story and tell me you’re not changed, I dare you.
And don’t miss the video at the end.

Earlier this afternoon, a local family was in a tragic accident. The Dad and one of his sons were killed in that crash while the Mom and the other child’s lives were spared even though their injuries are significant.
Their bones and burns can be healed, I’m sure it will take a long, long time, if ever, for their hearts to be whole again.

I was once again reminded to tell the ones I love that I love them, to try to be more considerate of others feelings, to cherish my time here with my family and friends for in an instant, it could all be gone.
