Even More Randomness

We had a great time in my Aunt and Uncle’s beautiful backyard under the shade trees. Many were unable to attend, but there’s always next year!

The food was great but the stories and reminiscing was even better.  I love my family although I have been very emotional since our gathering yesterday.  Too many family members have gone on before us and they were very much the focus yesterday.  In fact, I was glad we were outdoors and I had my shades on when some of the tales revolved around my deceased Dad.

Out of four children born to Max and Era Jones, both deceased, my Dad and his older brother have both died along with my uncle’s spouse, my aunt’s spouse, my brother, two cousins and a cousin-in-law.

We are blessed to have my Dad’s two sisters, Beatrice and Jo Marie, and many other relatives still among the living along with several little ones. I hope they will remember and share the stories someday.
