Not a good photo, but definitely evidence of the increasing wild hog infestation we have. I counted about 17 babies and at least 16 adults, it’s a problem around these parts, a serious problem. They were much too far away from the road and certainly felt no threat from me due to the distance between us. They are said to have poor eyesight, but fantastic hearing.
And, of course, my longer lens was at home along with the husband and his new Canon Powershot SX40HS which sports an amazing 840mm reach, and that’s a long, long way.
One of these days, all things and people will be in the right place at the right time. It’s a long held dream anyway.
Hope they don’t get up to our part of the woods and take a foothold. Amazing picture, with or without a longer lens!
They are very destructive! I have to say though, the pigs are so darn cute when they are tiny. I have never seen that many together before, I was amazed.
