Ten years ago, I was in bed as I’ve always been a night owl, never an early riser, when Ed came to the bedroom door and told me to get up, a plane had crashed into one of the twin towers.
For the rest of that day, the rest of that month, the last ten years, we’ve been consumed with anger, sadness and finally determination.
I will never forget the senseless, cruel, coordinated acts of terrorism in which thousands lost their lives in New York, Washington, D. C. and in Pennsylvania. I cried like a baby this morning at the beautiful tributes and shared remembrances to those lost on that tragic day.
